The WBJEE 2016 was conducted for admission to Undergraduate (UG) Courses in Medical –MBBS, Dental – BDS, Engineering & Technology (B.E, B.Tech), Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Government Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in West Bengal.
The WBJEE 2016 Medical Exams have been postponed to 20 July 2016. The applicants who qualify the written test will then be called for the interview round.
Over 1.5 lakh students appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination that were held on May 17 2016.
Result of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2016 will be declared on 5th June 2016.
WBJEE Results indicate the marks obtained in each subject and corresponding rank. The merit lists are prepared separately for engineering and medical admissions.

Declaration & Evaluation of Results of WBJEE 2016
1. Rules for scrutiny or review of Answer Sheet :
After the entrance test over, model answers keys will be available publicly by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for feedback from all concerned. Thereafter, the answers will be frozen by a set of reviewers not connected with the paper setting / moderation process.
Before publication of results, the response sheets of each candidate will be uploaded along with question wise mark(s) secured. Candidates may request for rechecking of the machine recorded responses online by payment of Rs. 500 per response within stipulated period of time. Board will consider all such cases prior to result publication. There will be no provision for post publication scrutiny and /or review and hence will not entertain any such request after the result publication.
2. Declaration of the Results of WBJEE 2016 :
WBJEE Results will be available in the website of the Board, and some other websites which will be announced in various electronic / printing media before declaration of results.

According to the Board’s website, admission to MBBS Course in Medical Colleges and BDS Course in Dental Colleges will be done through e-counselling after publication of Merit List of WBJEEM-2016. Seat allotment will be based on the rank position in the Merit List of the Joint Entrance Examination having regard to preferences for Medical or Dental Colleges.
